Kevin,

You state, <b>"But the text will only raise in the students once they know its content . . ."</b> My question - and if I am reading Steve here right his as well - is how do you do this without bringing some type of theological praxis to the text? If I am teaching the sacrifice of Isaac then how do I relate this to my students without somehow speaking of sacrifice?

Yes, indeed; please include me in the drinks! I'm at the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel. Kevin, I'd be interested to hear if your non-faith students are required to take your intro course, what the requirement hopes to accomplish, and how the students feel about it all. Just a fascinating set issues! ---Steve
