Cow and Boy has a great comic strip today on what might happen when Jesus returns. I think Leiknes is dead on when he thinks people will be more interested in having Jesus do miracles than they are in following his message. Most of us would rather be entertained than follow a life-changing message.

Actually when Jesus comes the one left behind will be those who are gathered up to meet Him in the clouds. He needs to get his bible reading straight “For it will be just as it was in the days before the flood” (Mt 24:38), when the good Noah and his family were LEFT BEHIND. The rest were “Flushed Away”! Also look at Lot and Sodom: Lot’s family was LEFT BEHIND. Remember “Next, we who are alive, who are remaining, shall be taken up quickly together with them into the clouds to meet Christ in the air.” (1 Thes 4:17) (Quotations from the Catholic Public Domain Version (CPDV))
Those remaining LEFT BEHIND will be going to heaven, the rest will have been sent away from God’s presence … for Eternity.
